Emily Elizabeth Aesthetics at Aspara Sidmouth
As a photographer, I spend most of my time photographing families. I capture real moments, natural connection, and people just being themselves.
That same approach is exactly why I also love working with female entrepreneurs and small business owners who want branding photos that feel honest and calm, rather than staged or forced.
This branding session with Emily Elizabeth Aesthetics in Sidmouth is a perfect example of that.

What Is Personal Branding Photography?
Personal branding photography goes far beyond a headshot. It’s about showing who you are, how you work, and what it feels like to be your client.
For small business owners, especially in beauty and wellness, branding photos help potential clients:
Feel connected before they ever book
See your personality and professionalism
Build trust through real, natural imagery
Your photos become part of your story across your website, social media, and marketing.
Branding Photography for Female Entrepreneurs & Small Businesses
I love working with female entrepreneurs because so many of the mums I photograph for family sessions also run their own businesses. Supporting women who are building something they care deeply about feels like a natural extension of my work.
Branding photography is ideal for:
Beauty and wellness professionals
Small local businesses
Female-led brands
Entrepreneurs who want natural, approachable imagery
It’s not about pretending or performing. It’s about showing up as you truly are.

A Calm, Natural Branding Session with Emily Elizabeth Aesthetics
Emily runs Emily Elizabeth Aesthetics, offering treatments such as microneedling, facials and Botox. She invested in branding photography so she could visually show what she does best! Which is working with her clients and giving them an amazing experience that they truly deserve.
The session took place in Aspara in Sidmouth, a calm and professional space that suited her brand perfectly.
Rather than directing or interrupting, I observed Emily as she worked and photographed her naturally interacting with her clients. The goal was simple:
Capture her doing what she does best
Show her care, confidence and professionalism
Create imagery she could use authentically across her business

Why a Relaxed Approach to Branding Photography Matters
This session with Emily lasted around five hours, yet it never felt rushed or pressured. There was no posing, no fake moments, and no instructions on how to “do her job”.
That’s really important to me.
Telling a business owner how to work can easily make things look unnatural and often wrong. Your future clients don’t want to see perfection; they want to see:
How you treat people
How you work
What it would feel like to sit in that chair
By letting Emily work naturally, her true self came through in the photos. Calm, professional and genuine.
From Family Photography to Branding Sessions
Although I’m mainly a family photographer, the skills transfer beautifully into branding work.
I’m used to:
Creating a relaxed environment
Letting moments unfold naturally
Photographing people who feel nervous in front of the camera
That’s why my branding sessions feel calm and supportive. I believe the best photos happen when you’re allowed to simply be yourself.
If you’re a business owner, you already know what you’re good at. My job is just to document it honestly.
