How do you deliver your photos?
Your stunning gallery will be created online using pic time. You will receive a private link to view your full Gallery.
Do you have experience photographing blended families?
Absolutely I do! I work with so many families whether you're a typical family of four , single parents, step children or other the list goes on. BUT at the end of the day I photograph families we can capture your raw moments. YES this includes pets!
How do you back up your photos?
My editing process starts with my Canon R6 dual recording which basically means it captures your session on two SD cards. From your session I go home and download your session straight on to multiple hard drives ready for its editing process.
Do you own a Studio?
I only shoot on location: Your home or somewhere you love to spend time as a family. That could be out in the country side , Your home or the seaside. My aim is to capture real memories for your family in meaningful settings.
How do I book a session?
You can book a session with me by going onto the enquire page. There you will find a questionnaire to complete. This helps me get to know you and your loved ones better. Or come and join my journey on my socials and pop me a message. I'd love to hear from you!
Is there a limit to the number of people in a family session?
There isn't a limit you can bring grandparents , siblings , god parents , or anyone else you would love to do this experience with. We will have to allow more time for your session, so please let me know.
How do we prepare for our session?
once your session has been booked , I will send you a guide on what to expect during our time together and how to prepare. This includes information such as what to wear, recommend Locations as well as a checklist you can refer to. This will help to get the most out of your exciting experience.
Are there travel fees?
This depends on the location you had in mind. Please get in contact with me so we can discuss further.
What if my child doesn't want to participate?
Your child is in charge! Simple as that. Don't fear about them misbehaving and having to smile at the camera! That's not what I am there to capture instead I am capturing the raw moments of them being at this age an age you will never get back. So if they want to play in water, pick flowers , roll in the grass I am all here for that! I don't force them if they want to sit then we sit. I look for the raw moments, the little details of them being who they are that day and not worrying about the cheesy family photos!
How long do you keep the original files?
FOREVER! Seriously I keep them forever! I know how priceless memories are. All on hard drives for a life time but I do personally recommend once you have your gallery you also back it up yourself. If you ever god forbid lose your precious memories don't hesitate and contact me straight away I will find your gallery and send it to you with no hidden fees.
What happens if I need to Reschedule my session?
I completely understand that life happens things get in the way but let me know 48 hours before your session and we can reschedule. No fees attached.
How long after the session will I see the photos?
What if my child had a special toy or blanket they want in the photos?
I highly encourage them including their special things because it make them comfortable but also what they love now and may not love in the future I wanna capture that personal touch for your family memories.
Do you shoot during different seasons?
I adore capturing family memories through all the seasons. Autumn and spring are most know for the gorgeous colour but summer and winter offer unique opportunities.
How far in advance do I need to pay for my Session?
A non- refundable deposit is typically required at the time of booking to secure your session. The balance is usually due on or before the day of the shoot.
What if I have a specific vision for our photos?
Love to hear your visions! feel free to share your ideas, themes, Pinterest boards with me during our pre session consultation.
Can we take family photos at our home?
YES! in home sessions are a great option for capturing family life as it happens in comfortable setting. We'll discuss the areas of your home that work best for photos.
What should we do if someone in the family has allergies (e.g plants, pets ) ?
Please notify me ahead of time , and we can choose a safe location and plan to minimise exposure to allergens.
Can we schedule multiple sessions throughout the year?
Certainly! many families choose to document their growth and milestones with multiple sessions. Always here to capture those sweet raw moments.
